Saraja is the wine project born from the idea of 4 partners all from the wine world, united by a great passion for wine and especially by the desire to believe strongly in the Sardinian land. Saraja covers a property of 75 hectares of which 49 vineyards and a management of vineyards in Romangia for the Cannonau and in Sulcis for the Carignano.
It is a historic vineyard in the hills at an altitude that starts from 300 meters s.l.m. to get to more than 500 meters s.l.m. The vineyard, protected behind Mount Limbara, is composed of a type of soil formed by granite sand and quartz stones that give great flavor/ minerality to Vermentini Saraja. It is a land that gives an expression of authentic wines but above all of the identity of the territory.
The members also have clear ideas about the winery with an ambitious project and trying to exploit as much as possible the charm of Gallura and Costa Smerala, building a winery that will overlook the sea, with a unique view and a modern technology. It is not only an ambitious project in terms of architecture but also of communication; in fact, Saraja will become a point of reference and hospitality, for the enhancement of this territory.
