When it comes to Prosecco, Astoria Wines is certainly among the most well-known and appreciated brands in the world. Founded in 1987 by the Polegato family, still at the helm of the company today with President Paolo Polegato and his son Filippo in the role of CEO, Astoria has its heart in Refrontolo, where the main estate is located, a hill covered by 40 hectares of vineyard in the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG area; to these grapes are added those of the suppliers, small producers who are followed in all phases of processing, to always guarantee the highest quality raw material. Everything is processed not far from the estate, in a winemaking cellar equipped with the most modern technologies.
The Treviso brand is aimed above all at the Ho.Re.Ca channel. Astoria wines, with their sparkling, often surprising and colorful bottles, are beautifully displayed in the best restaurants, wine bars and wine shops. Linked to the name of Astoria is above all Prosecco, offered in all its expressions, and more generally the sparkling wines made from Glera grapes, recognizable for their characteristic fruity aroma and perfect drinkability. They range from Millesimato Extra Dry to Brut, without forgetting Prosecco DOC Rosé. The most representative wines of the brand are Casa Vittorino Valdobbiadene DOCG Brut and Millesimato Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Dry, but also other little-known but important expressions of the territory, such as Refrontolo Passito DOCG.
