Appennino Food Group was born in 1985 from the passion of Luigi Dattilo. In love with nature and animals, at the age of 17 he bought a "pointer" dog trained to go truffle hunting.
That precise moment was the beginning of a growth path that leads to today: the first S.p.A. in its field, Appennino Food Group, has become the third company in the truffle sector. Together with Luigi, his brother Angelo Dattilo, responsible for the production department, and Roberto Fattore, responsible for purchasing and qualitative selection of fresh truffles, work daily. The philosophy of Appennino Food Group is based on respect for the raw material. Investing in advanced technologies and using resources every day in the search for innovations to concretely develop its brands.
